A New Day Family Festival in Faversham, Kent
The middle of the Kent countryside hides away A New Day Festival. Here, you’ll find an eclectic mix of rock music, from prog to blues rock and roots music, and even a fair share of folk. Created by lovers of these genres, this festival has a special atmosphere where you can be surrounded by good ale, a fantastic selection of food and like-minded people.
With the site opening for the weekend from Thursday, you can experience four full days of entertainment. If pitching up a tent isn’t quite your thing then you can always take advantage of the glamping or campervan field.
The fifth edition of A New Day will feature the Martin Barre band with special guests Clive Bunker and Dee Palmer as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of Jethro Tull’s classic album ‘Aqualung’. Other names include folk singer Seth Lakeman, world music pioneers Osibisa and Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel. An unmissable one for fans of all things rock and prog.
